Shopping: The amazing Ide Hill Community Shop the heart of the area. As the name suggests it is run by the community and alongside general store essentials you can have a coffee and a slice of cake. To be involved in the heart of this community you can volunteer here to help run the shop.
Schools: Ide Hill preschool and Ide Hill Church of England Primary School. There are other excellent private prep, county primary and secondary schools in and around Sevenoaks and Tonbridge, including Sevenoaks Prep, Solefields, New Beacon, Granville, St. Michael’s Otford, Sevenoaks School, Tonbridge School, Sackville, Walthamstow Hall, Trinity School, Tonbridge Judd and Weald of Kent.
Eating Out: The Cock Inn overlooks the green here and offers traditional pub fayre. The Pheasant Plucker is in a more rural location but is a large restaurant with excellent outside dining options alongside the large number of tables inside.
Fitness: Walking groups alongside some personal trainers are available here. Full fitness facilities are available in nearby Sevenoaks. The area is also incredibly popular with cyclists.
Specialties: The National Trusts Emmetts Garden is a relaxing day out in beautiful surroundings. Bluebell season here is totally stunning.
