Kemsing is a village and civil parish in the Sevenoaks district of Kent, England, which lies on the scarp face of the North Downs.

Shopping: There are convenience stores, newsagents and off licences in the village and a large Sainsburys superstore with an Argos, Homebase, Pets At Home and Halfords in nearby Otford, as well as antique shops and small independent shops.

Schools: Kemsing Primary School is in the village with private prep schools St. Michaels and Russell House in nearby Otford. There is a variety of excellent secondary schools in and around Sevenoaks and Tonbridge, including Sevenoaks School, Tonbridge School, Sackville, Walthamstow Hall, Trinity School, Tonbridge Judd and Weald of Kent.

Eating Out: The Bell in Kemsing is a Traditional village centre family friendly local with bar areas, beer garden and a function room. There is also an Italian Deli, Indian restaurant, fish and chip restaurant/takeaway and a Chinese takeaway.

Fitness: As well as several golf clubs in the surrounding areas, there are a range of fitness facilities available in and around Sevenoaks. Several independent gyms serve the town and Sevenoaks Leisure Centre has a large pool and fitness suite, alongside a café/restaurant.The Kemsing walk is a challenging 6.5 mile route which passes through the village and offers walkers magnificent views across the Weald of Kent.

Specialities: St. Edith's Well in the centre of the village is said to have healing properties. The stone enclosure walls are modern but the stonework lining the well itself is probably medieval.
